1. first day
Catch up with old friends, brave new teachers, fight your way through the sea of students, and hope you're in the right classroom. Oh, you're the new kid. Well, that's okay as long as you've got more than enough summer vacation anecdotes to fill ten pages of Times New Roman size 12, single-spaced.

2. first period
You're gonna be late! Or are you already there? Class hasn't started just yet, so chat it up or copy your classmate's homework before the teacher gets here.

3. lesson proper
You're probably diligently taking notes, looking out the window daydreaming or reciting in class, much to your teacher's delight - or dismay. Try not to be too obvious when counting down the minutes and pass that note as discreetly as possible.

4. faculty
Have a bone to pick with your terror math teacher. A crush on the cute chemistry teacher? There might be something you want to ask your homeroom teacher about. In any case, you plan on seeing a faculty member today. Or maybe they plan on seeing you!

5. lunch break
Man, you are starving. Hopefully, today's menu has something good. If the crowded cafeteria's not your thing, try the rooftop.

6. hooky
One of you is skipping class. You should try talking them out of it if that's your thing.

What on earth did you do to get this? Oh well. Detention can't be that bad when you've got all these very nice, approachable model students around to talk to.

[While Zim and Dib are frequently shoved into detention, it never stops Zim from making a huge fuss about being confined to a seat for an hour in a room full of smelly teenagers. It was disgusting and he should not have to "deal with it"! He taps a pencil against his desk top, glaring at the greasy coach seated at the desk at the front of the room.]

[Oh right, Zim appearance since high school. Okay, so, basically, he's in a holographic/projected shell with the capabilities of a physical casing. Basically. But also:]

[The shell is essentially an advanced hologram, while also acting as a sort of sit-in robot. Zim, at about 3', the same as he was when he originally landed on earth, is suspended by the inner field of the approximately 5'3" projection, allowing him to control it more naturally; basically he just walks and moves as he normally would and the shellprojectionthing just goes with it. With the advanced application in technology (with Tak's help which was more like Zim stole her shit and modified it to his own needs), the shell more resembles a human than before, although his skin is still a little green. He passed off the changes as a cure from his "skin condition," and it conveniently debunked Dib's alien claims that much more. Success, if you ask him. The shell is solid to the touch, and even gives off a cool-to-lukewarm temperature. It's basically the coolest thing ever, and he's still shorter than The Tallests, so no over-stepping his place as an Irken Invader there. Yep. All set.]

[So back to detention. It's day 2 of the multi-day detention he's been served, and if he sits through it all he won't get assigned more days. That would leave him this precious time to observe and research the humans more, or go back to his base and prepare for his next plan of attack. Or he could just leave and do all that now. Or he could at least try to continue some crippling charade of being a "good" student, earn the trust of some teachers to show he's "responsible" or whatever it is they're going on about. Decisions decisions.]

[...Yeah screw this, he's just going to get up and walk out. The coach over-seeing detention today doesn't care, he's even passed out over the desk and--EGH--drooling. So that's...pretty much what he does, he just grunts and hops out of his desk and makes his way to the door across the room, head held high, back straight, hands folded behind him. Fuck this noise.]
