[Shark usually knows when to step down from a dare, when not to take the bait, and when to leave a dumb party full of their idiot friends and his sister. But just because he usually does apparently doesn't mean he always does, as so wonderfully demonstrated by the predicament he's found himself in. He got too wired up, he took the bait he did all the things he usually doesn't do and gave into his temper and now he's...stuck in a dark closet with Yuma.]
[The stated intention was to see how long it would take for Shark to break down the door out of frustration and annoyance with Yuma, just as a joke! But he saw that look in Rio's eyes, and he knows this is vengeance for whatever wrong he did against her this time. He was dared to stay in there as long as he could with Yuma doing...whatever he was separately dared to do in the shared closet, and when it comes to Rio and that tone she used, it riles him up and he takes it as a challenge. But now he's stuck in this closet, uselessly checking his watch to try to see how long it's been.]
[It's sort of uncomfortably close in here, and he knows that the large party of their friends aren't exactly staring at the doors, waiting for them to come out. It was pretty quickly announced that now that those two were out of the way, it's time to do...whatever. Probably watch a movie Shark hated that Yuma couldn't sit through. And they're not exactly locked in, they can get out whenever, it's just Shark's pride on the line that won't let him just walk out right now.]
[There's also that pesky problem of their unresolved romantic/sexual tension that Rio gets frustrated by all the time. She says it's like that with Kaito, too, but Haruto got a cold so there's no Kaito at this party to attempt to shove into the same closet; plus, Shark would rather strangle him than kiss him most of the time, if he's being honest with himself. And if he's still going to be honest with himself, he's going to have to admit that the silence is awkward as fuck and he's never really been in this kind of situation before where he's alone with Yuma AND in a small space AND with preteen girl-giggle-worthy implications flooding it.]
