[I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that. Wally's going to be unconscious for a while, at least until he gets to a hospital. So for now you get to deal with his parents! Mary comes down the stairs in a nightgown, tugging a robe across herself as she cautiously steps into the garage. She'd heard some sort of BOOM, almost like thunder and loud enough to wake her, and when Wally wasn't in his room, she knew exactly where to go. She only has slippers on, so she carefully steps over the glass on the ground with her hand covering her mouth, robe shielding her nose. Oh, God, her baby.]

Wally?

[She draws closer to Dave, not at all surprised by his lack of shirt. She knows what those boys get up to, even though Wally hasn't exactly come out yet. But now's not the time to be thinking about her son's sexuality and its state of publicity. She needs to call 911, get Wally to the emergency room. There's blood, a lot of it, though Dave seems to have it somewhat under control. She'll have to thank him later. She doesn't have to ask what happened, that's pretty obvious from the broken beakers and chemical smell still clinging to the air. She's on the verge of tears, her baby could be dead, but she needs to keep calm for Dave's sake, if not her own.]

Dave, I'm going to call 911 and get Rudy, stay with him.

[She's trying not to panic, the sight of her baby on the ground like that... She doesn't know what she would do if she lost him. If they lost him. She can only imagine how Dave feels, probably something very similar to how she does right now. She shakes Rudy awake after she calls 911 and cries into his chest when she explains what happened. She can barely stand to watch the paramedics wheel her baby out of the house, but is slightly comforted by their reassurance that he should be okay. He is alive.

Wally regains consciousness a few hours later in a hospital. It's probably close to seven in the morning now, and though his parents were reluctant to leave after he'd just woken up, his doctor reassured them that taking the day off work would be unnecessary, Wally will be fine, and if anything changes, he'll let them know immediately. Wally's head hurts, feels a little lightheaded to go with it, but for the most part feels fine. He can't really remember what happened exactly, his memory's a little fuzzy, but he remembers being with Dave, Dave was angry, he'd gone down to the garage to test something, then woke up here. He has a feeling Dave is still angry, especially if what he thinks he did he actually did and he blew himself up to test the Flash experiment on himself. He should probably feel bad, and he does a little—he made his mom cry—but he can't help but feel excited at the same time, because if it actually worked, he could be a superhero.

He attempts an apologetic look at Dave.]

Guess I blew it, huh.

[It's supposed to be a joke, but it's not very funny.]
