[There's a point in life when something's gotta give.
That something, in the end, is Gaz's ability to handle the stupid feud between her brother and the incredibly incapable Irken Invader. So the afternoon finds her on the steps outside the skool building, book in hand, turning the pages on occasion.
[Zim's pretty proud of himself right now. He had to deal with Dib's STUPID antics today, but it was all playing into his plan. Granted, said plan didn't work out quite the way he wanted, as Dib was still very alive, but leaving him hanging upside down in the girl's bathroom, attached to the ceiling in a cocoon of GOO was satisfactory enough.]
[It's so satisfactory that's he's marching right out of school. And, like usual, he fails to notice Gaz sitting on the steps.]
[He doesn't see her as he's walking, and she doesn't like the fact that he ignores her. She doesn't like it when anyone ignores her, really- but it's worse when the two idiots that make her life the most difficult think they're allowed to do it.
So she trips him, and gets up as he heads for the ground, marking her place in her book before standing.]
[Zim falls flat on his face with a MIGHTY INDIGNANT SCREECH OF TERROR and then just kind of. stays there. twitching a bit. Earthling cement, his worst enemy.]
[Oh the scary girl child is talking to him fuck his life. He groans, readjusts his wig and gets up, brushing stray dirty gravel off his clothes. Filthy filthy filthy. And, yeah, he's straight up terrified of Dib's little sister, but he can cross his arms and try to look down on her all the same.]
I'm sorry, but ZIM owes no one!
[He lurches forward, clench-twitching his hand in her face.]
